Terms of Use

RagnaPlace runs ragnaplace.com, a free, fan-made Ragnarök Online database, build calculator, and community. You can contact us about these Terms, legal notices, or your account at privacy@ragnaplace.com, or with the contact form at the bottom of every page. You can browse the site without an account. These Terms apply to everyone who uses the site, and the parts about accounts and content apply once you sign in.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services without a parent's consent in your country if it is higher, to create an account. You confirm this when you sign up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.

You sign in with a link sent to your email or with Google, Discord, Twitch, or GitHub. Keep that email and those accounts secure: you are responsible for what is done through your account. One person per account; do not share, sell, or transfer it, and do not impersonate anyone. You can delete your account at any time in the account settings; it is closed after a 30-day window in which you can change your mind.

You keep ownership of everything you post: forum topics and replies, comments, builds, images, skins, replays, guild pages, and anything else you submit. By posting it, you give RagnaPlace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt the format of, and share it on the site and its features (such as previews, search, and embeds) for as long as it stays on the site. You confirm that you have the right to post it. When you delete content or your account, it leaves the site; copies may remain in our backups for up to 30 days, and content you chose to keep when deleting your account stays online without your name.

The Rules are part of these Terms. They say what is not allowed on the site, such as hate and discrimination, harassment, spam, inappropriate or illegal content, sharing personal information, promoting private servers, cheating, and real-money trading. Breaking the Rules means breaking these Terms.

Moderators may remove or hide content, close topics, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms, the Rules, or the law. When we act on your content or account, we tell you what we did, the reason, the rule or law concerned, and how to appeal, unless telling you would be unlawful or put someone at risk. To appeal, write to privacy@ragnaplace.com within 6 months with the link to the content and why you disagree. Someone who did not take the original decision reviews it, and we tell you the result. An appeal form inside the site will replace email later.

If you find content you believe is illegal, report it with the contact form at the bottom of the page or write to privacy@ragnaplace.com. Tell us where it is (the link), why you believe it is illegal, and your name and email (you may stay anonymous when reporting child sexual abuse material), and confirm that your report is made in good faith. We confirm that we received your report, review it promptly, and tell you what we decided. We report threats to someone's life or safety to the authorities.

Ragnarök Online and its names, images, and game data belong to Gravity Co., Ltd. and its licensors. RagnaPlace is an independent fan site and has no partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation with Gravity or any official server. Game information on the site may be incomplete or out of date.

We offer the site for free and as it is. We work to keep the data, calculators, and tools accurate and the site online, but we cannot promise that they are error-free, complete, or always available, and we may change or stop features. Check important information in the game itself.

To the extent the law allows, RagnaPlace is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or in-game losses that result from your use of the site, from content posted by other users, or from third-party sites and services linked from it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or the Rules, as described under Moderation and appeals. The licence for content you chose to keep and the limits of liability continue after your account ends.

We may update these Terms when the site or the law changes. We change the "Last updated" date on this page and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users on the site or by email before the changes take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you can stop using the site and delete your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. This does not take away the protection that the mandatory consumer and data protection laws of the country where you live give you, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country where those laws allow it.
