There are a few ways to change your hairstyle and hair color after your character is created. These methods will be described below but the simplest method is to find a Stylist NPC.
Default Hair Options
edit
These are the standard hair options available to all characters upon character creation or for 100,000 zeny at any Stylist NPC.
Premium Lighthalzen Hairstyles
edit
The unique Hair Dresser, Prince Shammi (lhz_in02 100/143)Paste Ingame
, inside the Lighthalzen Item Shop, offers a small item collection quest to grant access to new, premium hairstyles.
- Note that there are actually two matching NPCs next to each other, but the one on the right is just a normal Stylist NPC.
Prince Shammi's new hairstyles are not provided by any other stylists. You must bring several different items and have VIP (even 1-day or Mini VIP is sufficient) or a Hairstyle Coupon obtained from the
Kafra Shop to change to one of these hairstyles.
On 11/4/2024, a new set of hairstyles were added. Despite their name, these are not exclusive to any job class and these hairstyles can be accessed through the Stylist NPC, with the added cost of 3,000,000 zeny.
- These styles also have unique colors that cannot be accessed with dye in the game, your character must start with the "default" hair color when it is created, then the hairstyle changed at the stylist NPC to see these unique colors. If you change to a different color other than the default, you will not be able to get the default color again.
How to Change Hair Styles
edit
This method can be quite useful when creating a booster character, but can also be used for any new human character you create. It is completely free and requires no items. The only caveat is that you must be a novice to use this service, so if you change classes you cannot use the coupon. Please note you can only select hairstyles 1-19.

1. As a novice, head to Izlude and go to the northern part of the map to reach the Criatura Academy (izlude 128/256)Paste Ingame
.

2. Speak with the Academy Receptionist NPC (iz_ac01 100/39)Paste Ingame
at the counter when you first enter and register for the Criatura Academy. Note that you do not have to complete any of the other quests here, you will receive your Criatura Hair Coupon after talking to the NPC.

3. After speaking with the Academy Receptionist, you should have a Criatura Hair Coupon. Go slightly past the desk and head down the left side hallway, which leads into another room where you will see an NPC named Otter Samssoon (iz_ac01 69/36)Paste Ingame
.

4. Click on Otter Samssoon and he will present you with options to view each hair style 1-19, as well as the option to change your hairstyle. This is rather tedious to look through if you don't know which hair corresponds to each number, so a chart is provided above on each hairstyle, its corresponding number, name and color. Be careful not to select to change your hair until you're absolutely sure you know which style you want, as this will use your only chance to change your hair for free at this NPC.

There are several Stylist NPCs in different towns at the locations listed below that offer hair styling services. They are identified by the stylist symbol
hovering above them.
Click the links to copy coordinates and paste into your chat box in-game:
- Stylist Jovovich in Prontera (prt_in 243/168)Paste Ingame

- Stylist Maxi in Juno (yuno_in04 186/21)Paste Ingame

- Stylist Aesop in Rachel (ra_in01 186/148)Paste Ingame

- Stylist Prince Shammi in Lighthalzen (lhz_in02 100/141)Paste Ingame

- Stylist Lonza in Lasagna (lasagna 134/113)Paste Ingame

- Stylist Veronica in Alberta (alberta 135/37)Paste Ingame

Each Stylist provides the same service to change from Human hairstyles 1-34 and Doram hairstyles 1-6 in exchange for a 100,000z fee. The exception is Prince Shammi in Lighthalzen who offers unique options L1-L7 in Lighthalzen for humans in exhange for items and zeny, elaborated on below.
Hair color can be changed for an additional 100,000z.
Costume changes are available in the stylist menu if you have a Second Costume Ticket. Costume color can also be changed if you have an Omni Clothing Dye Ticket obtained from the
Kafra Shop. Each salon also has outdated assistant NPCs that offer hair color and hairstyle changes.

There is also a very limited accessory tab in the stylist menu. It allows you to view and buy very basic accessories (sent through the mail), but the Kafra and Horse accessories are not for sale.

- Assistant Sena (lasagna 132/116)Paste Ingame

- Assistant Rossa (lhz_in02 100/134)Paste Ingame

- Assistant Kukri (prt_in 253/169)Paste Ingame

- Assistant Paulgen (alberta_in 56/146)Paste Ingame

These NPCs will offer 2 different services. For 1000z and dyestuff they will dye your hair. The second service is to change your hairstyle (1-23) for the items listed below.
- This method is not recommended if you want to change from styles 1-24 because the Stylist NPC does this for 100,000z and requires no items.

Roving Hair Dresser, Rui Vishop (alberta 33/141)Paste Ingame
, will change your hairstyle randomly for 198,000z.
