About Undersea Tunnel

The underground dungeon is located on Byalan Island, to the east of Izlude. Dungeon contents are six floors of mostly water creatures. An Eden Group Member NPC, Callandiva, is located on Undersea Tunnel 5.

To and From Undersea Tunnel

Entrance to the Undersea Tunnel, located on Byalan Island, is by way of Izlude. Make sure to save in Izlude, as the Kafra agent on Byalan does not save.

To reach the dungeon, go north around the eye of the skull and then go south to reach the entrance.
Talk to the Sailor at the Izlude northeast dock (201, 181) and pay him 150z to sail to Byalan Island.
Proceed to the Byalan Island entrance at (108, 94).
You can not save on Byalan Island but there is a Kafra Employee for storage and cart rental.

Leaving Byalan Island is accomplished by speaking with the Sailor (106,27) at the dock.

Leveling Overview

Known as Byalan Dungeon. A dungeon found in Byalan Island that is filled with low to mid level monsters. Most monsters here are of Water property so using Wind elemental weapons or Wind attacks are very useful for leveling. While the first two levels of the dungeon is safe for a low level characters, the third level becomes harder with aggressive monsters. The third level has Obeaune and Marse monsters. Obeaunes are aggressive mermaid like monsters fond of casting Lex Divina while hitting the target hard. Marse can blind the target. Mid level characters usually train in the third level of the dungeon. The fourth level is infested with fish like monsters. Watch out for the incoming Water Ball of the Swordfish! Marc, a sea horse like monster hits really hard and can stun its target, leaving it immobile while receiving a lot of damage from a huge mob of monsters. Stay away from the exploding Marine Spheres as much as possible. Finally, on the fifth level, Mermans are deadly but gives a decent amount of experience. Penomenas are like Archers attacking from afar while dealing a lots of damage. Strouf keeps on casting Frost Diver and Lightning Bolt combo on the player. The green fish like monster called Deviace is considered as the Mini Boss of the dungeon. Either way, the dungeon is a great place for some levels but just remember to be cautious and bring a lot of Potions and Fly Wings.
