Thanatos Tower was revamped on January 30th, 2024 in iRO to include new floors, new monsters, new daily quests, new equipment, new ways to access these, and more.

To gain access to Thanatos Tower, you will need to speak to <Thanatos Tower Guide> Gate, located at (hu_fild01 140/163)Paste Ingame, and pay 5000 zeny.

• If you sign the Agreement highlighted in the sections below, subsequent visits will only cost you 3000 zeny to enter.

Since Warp Portal memo'ing is not accessible inside Thanatos Tower, it is easiest to use the Juno Monster Society to access the entrance of the Tower via one of the many Assistant NPCs.

Once you have entered the tower, it is recommended to register with the <Thanatos Tower Guide> Dice Lapa behind the desk at (tha_t01 149/78)Paste Ingame for access to the Tower's multiple quests, the Tower's Floor Elevator, and higher-level floors during your first visit.

Your Base Level will restrict which floors can be accessed:

• 1-94 can only access Floors 2-6.
• 95-180 can additionally access Floors 7-8.
• 180+ can additionally access Floors 9-12.

This quest is not repeatable.

Blade Conceed, a Zonda Service Employee under Rekenber, can be found on the 2nd Floor of Thanatos Tower at (tha_t02 231/161)Paste Ingame.

He headed to the Tower because of Rekenber's obsession with it, but it looks like he needs help digging into the secrets behind its many locked chambers.

1. Talk to Blade and select Option 3 to begin this Quest if you are above Base Level 90.
2. Blade will give you a Red Key and players must follow modified quest path similar to the original Thanatos Tower Quest.
3. Return to Blade with the final item, Varmunt's Note, to be rewarded with 100,000 EXP (Need Confirmation on EXP gained).

NOTE: Players can utilize this NPC to warp to 3rd Floor with no level restriction by selecting Option 1 if needed.

Juno's Monster Society has news that new monsters have appeared in the upper levels of Thanatos Tower. While the Society has tried to observe them, due to the poor health of Weak Bone they are unable to gather good information. They are looking for an adventurer to help them in the development of Monsterology.
