Upgrade Weapon (Alt: Weapon Refine) is a Transcendent 2^nd class active skill available as Mastersmith.

Effect

Attempts to upgrade a selected weapon. Success Rate is based on the user's Job Level.

Notes

Job Level 50 and lower have same success rate as the NPC.
At Job Level 51 and higher, the user's Job Level increases the Success Rate by 0.5% each versus the NPC, up to 10% at Job Level 70.
The desired weapon does not have to be equipped by the user in order to be upgraded via this skill, and must not be in order for it to appear on the selection menu.
This skill is not eligible for level 5 weapons. Even when you have the weapons, oridecon or etherdeocon, and skill popup window shows the weapon can be selected.
