- Travel to Payon and speak to the NPC named Phoenix at
. He will ask the player to gain 1 more Base Level. - Return to Phoenix after gaining 1 Base Level and give the following answer to his question:
- I face it head on.
- Accept differences and learn from them.
- Yes.
- He will then change you into a TaeKwon Kid and reward you witth a Guard [0]. (Some servers require gaining more than 1 Base Level during the quest for this reward.)
- Note: if your Base Level is 20 or higher, you will not be asked to gain another level.
Gunslinger

- Go to second floor of Criatura Academy located in Izlude, speak to Lusa
.
- Ask her "Becoming a Gunslinger". She will teleport you to the Gunslinger's Guild in Einbroch.
- Talk to the Master Miller
and he will have you fill out an application.
- You will then be sent to Payon to talk to Wise Bull Horn .
- Wise Bull Horn will ask you to collect 3 Mushroom Spore and 3 Green Herb.
- Note: Although you are asked to collect 1 of each item, you must actually collect 3 of each item.
- Tip: You can collect all of the items from the area immediately east of Payon Field
.
- After collecting the items, return to Wise Bull Horn.
- He will tell you that he is thirsty and ask for a Milk.
- After giving the Milk, Wise Bull Horn will fashion a voucher to give to Master Miller.
- Talk to him again and he will teleport you directly to the Gunslinger's Guild.
- Talk to the Master Miller and he will change you into a Gunslinger.
- You will also receive 1 Novice Rifle [3], 2 Cartridge, and 1 Silver Cartridge.
- The Novice Rifle [3] is a level 1 weapon that has 50 ATK and cannot be refined.
Ninja

- Once the player is Job Level 10 and has Basic Skills maxed;
- Talk to Ninja Guide located at the second floor of Criatura Academy in Izlude, she will teleport you to Amatsu.
-OR- - Talk to Akagi located at
in Alberta.
- Talk to Ninja Guide
- Find the house located at
and enter. The house will appear to look empty. However, if you move to the back of the room, you will see a path. Follow this to a portal.
- Once inside, talk to Cougar near the portal. He will blab on and requires you to find Wildcat Joe in Einbroch.
- (iRO Only) Talk to Cougar again and he will warp you to Einbroch. This will require 2,000 Zeny or a Free Ticket for Kafra Transportation.
- In Einbroch, go to the top of Einbroch Tower in the center of the city. A man (Khemko) in front
, or in back (Oberu) , will warp you up to the top for 10 Zeny.
- Once warped up, talk to The NPC Suspicious Man to the right.
- Help him and he will ask you to either:
- (iRO and kRO) Find a seal under the Red Tree.
- Find a seal under the Red Tree one map south of Einbroch and at the bottom (on the left side of the small area at the bottom of the map or
). It may take a number of attempts in order to find the seal.

- (Others) Collect 5 Cyfar and a Phracon (for making a Kunai).
- (iRO and kRO) Find a seal under the Red Tree.
- Upon returning to Einbroch Tower after completing the task, Suspicious Man will reveal himself as Wildcat Joe.
- He will give you a reply and warp you to Amatsu. At this point return to Couger in the Ninja Guild.
- Talk to Cougar and he will request you to collect 5 Iron Ore and a Phracon (iRO and kRO) OR 5 Cyfar and and a Phracon (Others). (these will not be removed from the player's inventory). The player will then become a Ninja after finishing talking to the NPC. You will receive an Asura.
Super Novice

- Head to Al De Baran and go to the Windmill building in the southwest region of the map
. Enter the room to the left and talk to Tzerero.
- He will ask you to bring the following items:
- 30 Resin
- 30 Sticky Mucus
- Once you bring the items, you will be changed into a Super Novice.
- Note: the next time you talk to Tzerero, he will immediately take the Items. Make sure to select "Huh?" in the following dialogue, if you select "What is that?", the Quest Items are wasted.
- In honor of successfully changing into a Super Novice, you will receive a pair of Panties.
